My adventure flight around the world was hardly finished, when I got this crazy idea. I wanted to fly again around the world, but this time as a colorful bird, a multicolor painted airplane. I wanted to show something beautiful in the sky, to which people around the world could look-up to with a smile.
In spring of1996, the year of the 100th Olympic Games in Atlanta, I started in Los Angeles. I flew around the world to 29 Olympic cities. There I made skydives over the cities, met with Olympians, student pilots, skydivers, correspondents and school children, which all signed my logbook Flight of Beauty.
In flying clubs around-the-world, I held lectures about my flights around the world and shared my experience and enthusiasm, with young student pilots.
For a small contribution to my flight adventure, sponsors from all over the world could buy a Golden Feather and stuck it signed on my airplane. Thus, I flew with many friends around the world.
